Allen Mello is a Forensic Toxicologist with the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene. He holds a Master’s in Biomedical Forensic Science from Boston University and specializes in testing for drugs and alcohol in impaired driving cases.
Allen has been recognized as an expert witness in Wisconsin courts and contributes to research in method development and validation. A member of SOFT, TIAFT, and MATT, he regularly presents his work at national and international forensic science conferences.
Beyond investigations, Alexa has trained new crime scene specialists, engaged in community programs like Kids and Kops, and is a member of the International Association for Identification. Today, she teaches crime scene courses to agencies across the U.S., sharing her passion and real-world knowledge with the next generation of investigators.
